As our Training Coordinator/Facilitator, you’ll have the opportunity to directly influence employee development and help ensure that the people we support receive the highest quality services possible.

In this position, you will coordinate, develop, and deliver training programs. You’ll work closely with programs and staff to identify training needs, coordinate required certifications and courses, facilitate engaging training sessions, and ensure training requirements are completed and documented.

We're Looking For Someone Who Is:
-Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong follow-through
-An excellent communicator who can present information clearly and confidently
-Engaging and approachable and able to connect with people with different learning styles and levels of experience
-Comfortable working independently while also collaborating with employees, supervisors, and leadership
-Tech-savvy and comfortable learning and working with multiple computer systems and software programs
-Able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally
-Positive, dependable, and committed to providing excellent service to employees
-Comfortable developing, adapting, and evaluating training materials and curriculum

Required Qualifications:
-High school diploma or equivalent
-Three to five years of experience in training, facilitation, education, human services, employee development, or a related field
-Experience delivering presentations, teaching others, facilitating groups, or developing training materials may be considered in place of formal training experience
-Strong administrative, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
-Strong attention to detail and accuracy
-Strong proficiency with a variety of computer programs and technology
-Experience with data management, data mining, and/or analytics
-Ability to become certified to teach Adult CPR/First Aid and MANDT
-Ability to develop and revise training curriculum to support best practices
-Ability to present learning materials and evaluate learner competency
-Positive work ethic and strong follow-through
-Willingness to complete required criminal, Adult and Child Protective Services, reference, and other background checks

Preferred Qualifications:
-Current DSP, Adult CPR/First Aid, and MANDT certifications
-Experience working in the intellectual and developmental disabilities field
-Experience with Paylocity, College of Direct Support/Elsevier and/or Relias

Pay Range: $19.27 - $27.37, based on experience

DSP’s help people perform activities of daily living, remember their medication and have quality lives. DSP’s may work in homes
or in the community.

Career Growth!

SKILLS provides extensive paid training to prepare employees

New staff attend a
45-hour course to earn Direct Support Professional and Residential Medication Aide Certifications.
