SKILLS, Inc. provides a number of day habilitation services located in Athens, Pittsfield, Skowhegan and the Waterville area. These programs are opened between 8AM and 2PM, Monday through Friday. Transportation can often be arranged either through SKILLS, Inc. or KV Cap.
Ervin Center
Ervin Center is located in downtown Waterville in the Thrift Store building. Individuals are offered cooking, sign language and exercise classes and participate in pre-vocational opportunities designed to promote basic skills development. Small amounts of money can be earned by sorting donations for the Thrift Store, by making rags or by making wind chimes, garden stones, and birdhouses that are marketed throughout Central Maine.

LC Dill Center
LC Dill Center is located in Skowhegan. Individuals may participate in a variety of learning groups such as human sexuality, budgeting, reading skills and cooking. Small amounts of money can be earned by: sorting donations for the Thrift Store; making rags; working for Classic Cleaner, a cleaning service used by local businesses; or doing contract work provided by local businesses.

Practical Life Skills Programs are located in Athens and Pittsfield. Individuals attending these programs are offered a variety of community/volunteer opportunities including local food cupboards, non-profit thrift stores, and American Red Cross. At program sites, individuals participate in gardening, crafts, cooking classes and daily living skills development and retention. Wreathes, made from dried flowers from the garden, are registered with "Made in Maine" and are sold in selected areas. Individuals are able to earn small amounts of money by recycling wire provided by a local company.
